A Rainy Oklahoma Day...

My application for the apartment was approved! I'm going back Friday to sign the lease and start handing over money (yuck). Anyway, I am really relieved to have a place, since the last place backed out the day before I was supposed to move (grrrrrrr).
I woke up to some heavy rain here in Oklahoma. Even though the sun has come out, I'm posting some pictures and video clips that get me through any rainy day! Inspired by the adorable pic over at Gingerology.

Ginger.....WITH A BEARD?!?!?! If anyone knows what the heck this is from, please let me know!

Boy is this song beautiful. (PS: That was definitely a very open-mouth kiss! Look at 2:27. haha.)

I'm not a huge fan of "fan videos" that use random songs. This song is pretty cheesy, but it's edited really well.
Have a good day!

OMG!! GINGER WITH A BEARD! I love it.... genius times. Is it odd that I still think she's quite attractive despite the transgebnder thing going on?!

If anyone knows any background Im very interested xx

I was hoping you would know! She's got the dark hair, so it's the early 40s, which happen to be the era I'm least familiar with. I was thinking maybe it was from "Tom Dick and Harry" since I haven't seen that one yet, and it has some really surreal moments.
If it's not from a movie, I suppose it could be some kind of practical joke or something. Here's the other beard pic I have:

Haha, that one's too much! Now I'm dying to know.

Okay, meanwhile, I've been searching and while I didn't find anything about a brown beard, I did find this...seems she was no stranger to disguises, haha.

Wow thanks Juliette! I remember Ginger saying that she thought he caused the wreck because she refused to go out with him. I wish someone were still alive to straighten all of that out!

Haha, anytime. I quite agree.

And I think Tom Dick and Harry might be right, but I've not seen it. It's certainly none of the others around then. Plus, T,D,&H has a lot of dream sequences evidently. Unless this was just a prank.

Unfortunately, I can't give you an answer - I can only bust up your theory. Unless it was from a cut scene, she didn't have a beard in any of the dream sequences in T,D & H. I watched this just a short time ago.

No idea what the story is behind the photograph, but it is terribly funny. :-)

Could it be from Lucky partners? Looking at her filmography, that's the only possible film from her dark hair period that I haven't seen. Has anyone else seen it?

Well, throwing my 2 cents in - after further study of the 'beard' pix, there are tables and folks standing in the background - so, I think it may not part of a movie scene, but may be an 'on the set' prank... or, even more likely, be some 'skit' for a benefit or party, etc.... she is probably impersonating someone - it looks like she is acting as an 'MC' or something, clapping and walking onto the stage...
Just my take - but it would be cool to have 'verification' regarding this 'interesting' getup for her!

See, I was thinking it was a movie set, because that sort of looks like the RKO cafeteria...

Hmmm... well, after looking at the 'second' picture, on 'tinyPic', I see what you mean... may be some type of shindig they were having there... but unless it is in '5th Avenue Girl', don't remember seeing this 'look' in any of her 'brunette' era movies.
See, that's why she needed to write a few more books - to explain more of this stuff!!! Oh, well, I'm not going to hold that against her :-)
